Why a Master Builder?
The Certified Master Builders (CMB) are the elite New Home Builders and Remodelers of South Carolina. Their mission is to provide quality construction, on time and within budget. The CMB respond promptly for all calls after the Certificate of Occupancy has been issued. Their goal is to assure complete Customer Satisfaction.
The program was created by the Home Builders Association of South Carolina to help home buyers and home owners find builders and remodelers they can trust. Certified Master Builders must meet strict requirements that prove they have an excellent track record of stability, integrity and service to their buyers.
After becoming a Certified Master Builder, each member is required to complete ten (10) hours of Continuing Education per year. They must also maintain a current Insurance Certificate, and promptly pay their yearly renewal fee.
Members build upon their professionalism, business practices, product quality and record of customer service through continuing education. The education requirements mean that Certified Master Builders are in tune with the latest in building practices and building codes.
The Certified Master Builders of South Carolina program is governed by a committee of Certified Master Builders and the Home Builders Association of South Carolina Board of Directors.
